Sport Fishing Charters from Hasik Season: October – April

Experience the thrill of sport fishing in Southern Oman with Arabian Sport Fishing. Every day can be tailor made to your fishing preferences and target species. Being based in Hasik we have the luxury of covering both inshore, the Halleniyat Islands and offshore easily.

Heavy tackle: Some of the largest trophy GT’s in the world are caught in the Halleniyat Islands. But they dont call it the fish of a thousand casts for no reason. If you are chasing these monsters you need patience, skill and the correct tackle set up.

Medium-Light Tackle: Inshore we have the infamous Omani Bream which is great fun on light topwater lures. Queenfish smashing bait balls, longtail tuna and other smaller Trevally species.

At the Halleniyat Islands you will find multiple Trevally species (Yellowspot, Diamond, Golden, Bluefin, black tip) as well as large emperors, queenfish and many other reef species.

Jigging: The reefs and pinnacles around the islands are teaming with exciting species. The early part of our season the main target species is AmberJack.

Trolling: With the most dramatic drop off that runs from Hasik all along the Halleniyat Islands an afternoon trolling for Marlin (Blue,Black and striped), Wahoo, sailfish or Dorado is often a welcome break from all the casting

Our fishing season runs from October through April, offering world-class opportunities to target a wide range of species in the rich waters of the Arabian Sea.
